Twenty days in Dali, down at the lake every morning. No postcard views, only the water, the wind and the people standing in it.
The first time I went to Erhai I didn’t take a single picture. I sat by the lake for a whole morning. After that I got up every day, took one camera, and walked along the shore.
The water is the real subject of this series. The people and the trees only make it look a little bigger.
